Viking Therapeutics' obesity drug shows 22% weight loss in study Sept 22 (Reuters) - Viking Therapeutics VKTX.O said on Tuesday its experimental GLP-1 obesity drug helped patients lose 22% of their body weight after 33 weeks of weekly treatment in a maintenance study.
