Notification of Share Pledge - 10 July 2024

 

The Company (LSE: VOF), the only UK listed fund focused on providing broad
exposure to both listed and private equities in Vietnam, announces that it was
notified on 8 July 2024 that VinaCapital Investment Management Ltd., the
investment manager to the Company, has pledged a total of 706,500 ordinary
shares of $0.01 each (the "Shares") in the capital of the Company in favour of
The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited pursuant to the loan
facility agreement dated 18 November 2022.

 

VinaCapital Investment Management Ltd. and its related entities
("VinaCapital") remain the beneficial owners of the Shares, representing
approximately 0.47% of the issued share capital of the Company, and retain
full voting rights. As at 8 July 2024, VinaCapital holds a total of 4,009,897
ordinary shares representing 2.64% of the Company's total voting rights, which
have all been pledged in favour of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking
Corporation Limited.
