Australia's Vintage Energy posts best day in over a year on winning gas supply contract

** Shares of Vintage Energy  VEN.AX  rise as much as 15.63%
to A$0.074, posting its sharpest intraday pct gain since March
2022
    ** VEN hits its highest level since May 5
    ** Oil and gas co won a second contract to supply gas from
Odin gas field in South Australia to electricity generator,
Pelican Point Power Limited 
    ** Co says the first gas under the contract is expected in
September quarter of this year 
    ** Stock has fallen 28.9% so far this year, as of last close
