Vir Biotech slumps as flu therapy fails in mid-stage study

** Shares of drug developer Vir Biotechnology Inc  VIR.O 
hit an over three-year low and fall 43.2% to $13.09 
    ** Co says its experimental antibody therapy to prevent
symptomatic influenza A failed to meet main goal in a mid-stage
study   
    ** The therapy, VIR-2482, a monoclonal antibody, did not
produce a statistically significant reduction in influenza A
infection with at least one respiratory symptom - VIR
     ** VIR says it is currently developing another experimental
monoclonal antibody against both influenza A and B viruses  
    ** Including session moves, stock down ~48.5% YTD
