NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND ANNUAL REPORT & ACCOUNTS

 

Virgin Wines (AIM:VINO), one of the UK's largest direct-to-consumer online
wine retailers, confirms that it has posted to shareholders its Annual Report
& Accounts for the year ended 30 June 2021 together with its Notice of
Annual General Meeting ("AGM"). Copies of both are available on the Company's
website at www.virginwinesplc.co.uk (http://www.virginwinesplc.co.uk) or by
request. They are also available on request from the Company at its registered
office.

 

The AGM will be held in person at 9:00am on Monday 6 December 2021 at the
Tickled Trout Hotel, Preston New Road, Samlesbury, Preston, PR5 0UJ. Due to
the ongoing COVID-19 situation, shareholders are asked not to attend if they
are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently been in contact with
anyone who has tested positive. To further reduce the risk of the spread of
the virus, the Board encourages shareholders who plan to attend in person to
take a lateral flow test beforehand, on the day of the meeting. Shareholders
are also advised to arrive at the venue in plenty of time to complete
registration formalities and comply with the venue's health and safety
procedures.

 

Given the continued uncertainty relating to COVID-19, shareholders are
encouraged to vote by appointing a proxy electronically in advance of the AGM
or appointing the chair of the meeting as their proxy.

 

Shareholders who wish to ask questions of the Board relating to the business
of the AGM can do so by sending an email to agm@virginwines.co.uk in advance
of the meeting and the Company will answer these in due course.
