Virtu Financial rises after Q4 profit beats estimates

** Shares of market maker Virtu Financial  VIRT.O  climb
5.1% to $40.92 premarket
    ** VIRT posts Q4 adjusted profit of $1.14/shr, beating Wall
Street expectations of 89 cents/shr - data compiled by LSEG
    ** Q4 total revenue jumps 55.7% to $834.3 mln, driven by
strong growth in trading income        
    ** Trading income more than doubled to $544 mln for the
quarter from a year earlier, thanks to stronger global equities
volumes   
    ** Q4 was the best quarter since Q1 2022 for Virtu's
execution services arm, which houses its trading business
    ** VIRT stock soared 76% in 2024
