Vistagen rises as nasal spray for anxiety found safe in late-stage study

** Shares of drug developer Vistagen Therapeutics Inc
 VTGN.O  gain 41% to 18 cents
    ** Says long-term use of its nasal spray was found safe and
well-tolerated in a late-stage study of 481 patients with social
anxiety disorder
    ** Six patients faced serious adverse events, not related to
the treatment - VTGN
    ** Use of the spray, fasedienol, showed clinical meaningful
reductions in fear, anxiety - VTGN
    ** At three months, there was a mean reduction of 24 points
on a self-rating social anxiety scale
    ** Shares down 88% in last 12 months
