** Shares of electric vehicle firm Vmoto Ltd  VMT.AX  rise
as much as 6.9% to A$0.390, their highest since July 12
    ** Co sells 7,854 units in second quarter, up 23% from last

    ** Vmoto posts international sales of 7,503 units for Q2, an
increase of 26% from a year earlier
    ** Stock posts its biggest intraday pct jump since July 16
    ** Trading volume of 677,220 shares at nearly double the

    ** Stock down 17.1% this year, as of last close
