Refiles to change media identifier to VODACOM GRP-RESULTS, previously BOXER RETAIL-RESULTS
JOHANNESBURG, May 11 (Reuters) - South African mobile telecoms operator Vodacom Group VODJ.J reported a 22.9% jump in full-year profit on Monday as growth from its businesses on the continent offset a decline in its home market, where it booked a one-off cost in the first half.
The company, majority owned by Britain's Vodafone VOD.L, said its headline earnings per share (HEPS), a key profit measure in South Africa, jumped to 10.53 rand in the full year period ended March 31, up from 8.57 rand a year earlier.
Vodacom declared a final dividend of 405 cents per share.
