India New Issue-Vodafone Idea Telecom Infrastructure issues multiple tenor bonds

MUMBAI, Dec 19 (Reuters) - India's Vodafone Idea Telecom Infrastructure, a wholly-owned subsidiary of telecom operator Vodafone Idea VODA.NS, has raised 33 billion rupees ($368 million) through sale of bonds maturing in two years and in three years and two months, the company said in a notice to stock exchanges on Friday.

The company raised 30 billion rupees through via two-year bonds at a yield of 12%, and 3 billion rupees through three-year and two-month bonds at a yield of 14%.

In November, Reuters had reported that the company slashed the size of its planned bond sale, citing expectations of securing cheaper funding from lenders in 2026.
