EasyJet, Ithaca Energy to join FTSE 100 index
EasyJet, Ithaca Energy to join FTSE 100 index Sept 2 (Reuters) - Budget airline EasyJet EZJ.L and oil and gas producer Ithaca Energy ITH.L will join Britain's FTSE 100 index, index provider FTSE Russell said on Wednesday.
The two will replace betting group Entain ENT.L and homebuilder Persimmon PSN.L, FTSE Russell said.

The changes stem from the September quarterly review of the FTSE UK index series and will be implemented at the close of business on September 18 and be effective from September 21.
The FTSE 250 index .FTMC will see five additions — Entain, Persimmon, Pinewood Technologies PINE.L, Seraphim Space Investment Trust SSIT.L and Volex VLX.L, FTSE Russell said.
Aston Martin AML.L and GB Group GBGP.L will exit the FTSE 250 index.
In August, Apollo Global APO.N agreed to buy EasyJet in an about £5.70 billion ($7.69 billion) deal.
