PDMR SHARE AWARD 
 
Volex plc, a global provider of power and data cabling solutions, announces
that on 18 July 2014 a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility, Mr.
Matthew Becker, was granted an award of 50,000 shares under the Volex Group
plc Restricted Share Scheme 2009 (the "RSP Award").  The RSP Award, which is
not performance-linked but is conditional upon continuing employment with
Volex, will vest after three years. 
 
This is the first such award for Mr. Becker.
