Local content rules will impact location of car production, Cupra CEO says PARIS, Oct 12 (Reuters) - Cupra Chief Executive Markus Haupt said on Monday the rules on local content will impact where the car maker, a unit of Germany's Volkswagen VOWG.DE will make its new models.
"The Tavascan will stay in China, we have invested there, we need now to honor our investment we have done there, but of course local content will impact the future models, and of course it will have an impact on where we produce the cars," he told Reuters on the sidelines of the Paris motor show.
"This is normal business for us, we are prepared for it, we have a very good supplier base," he added.
