UPDATE 1-Voltalia's second-quarter revenue jumps 35% on new capacity in South Africa, Uzbekistan Adds details in bullet points
July 23 (Reuters) - French renewable energy company Voltalia VLTSA.PA reported a 35% rise in second-quarter revenue to €198 million ($225.26 million), driven by newly commissioned capacity in South Africa and Uzbekistan, stronger power sales and growth across its services businesses.
Energy sales rose 40% to €118.2 million, fuelled by the contribution of newly commissioned capacity, favourable price effects and €17 million euros in compensation for a production curtailment in Brazil.
Lowers year-end capacity target to 3.6 GW from about 3.7 GW, citing a more selective approach to launching projects.
Confirms 2026 guidance.
