of the factors that may move German stocks on Thursday:
    
    
     Germany is extending its COVID-19 emergency aid for
struggling companies by three months until the end of this year,
the finance and economy ministries said on Wednesday.

    Germany's Merck KGaA MRCG.DE on Thursday issued a more
ambitious medium-term growth forecast for its Life Science unit,
a supplier of materials and lab gear for the biotech

    Activist fund ENKRAFT has taken a stake in RWE and is
calling for a separation of the company's brown coal activities
