Trading Update and Notice of Final Results
 
Trading Update
Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, is pleased to provide the following update on recent trading.
Since the interim results announcement on 21 November 2017, the Group has continued to make good progress over the winter period.
 
The UK division has experienced consistent demand from its key infrastructure, construction and housebuilding markets.
 
As reported on 7 March 2018 the completion of the acquisition of Brandon Hire Group Holdings Limited ('Brandon Hire') received clearance from the Competition and Markets Authority.  Since then we have been working closely with the Brandon Hire team on the integration of the business within the Vp Group, a process which has started well.
 
Within the International division, the offshore oil and gas sector has remained challenging, whilst our Asia Pacific based test and measurement business has continued to perform well.
 
The Board anticipates that the Group will report full year results for the year ended 31 March 2018 in line with current market expectations.
 
Notice of Final Results
The Group will be announcing its Final Results for the year ended 31 March 2018 on Tuesday, 5 June 2018.  An analyst briefing given by Jeremy Pilkington (Chairman), Neil Stothard (Chief Executive) and Allison Bainbridge (Group Finance Director), will be held at 09.30hrs on Tuesday, 5 June 2018 at the offices of Buchanan, 107 Cheapside, London, EC2V 6DN.
