ZURICH/BERLIN, April 9 (Reuters) - Here are some of the
main factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Tuesday:
SWISS NATIONAL BANK SNBN.S
The Swiss National Bank sees no need for a central bank
digital currency (CBDC) to be issued to the general public,
Chairman Thomas Jordan said on Monday.
The bank's vice chairman is set to speak on interest rates,
foreign exchange interventions and achieving price stability on
Tuesday.
UBS UBSG.S
UBS is in talks to acquire full ownership of its China
platform by swapping its holding in Credit Suisse's onshore
securities venture with a Beijing government investment fund,
Bloomberg News reported on Monday.
TRAFIGURA
Copper demand linked to artificial intelligence and data
centres could add up to one million metric tons by 2030 and
exacerbate supply deficits towards the end of the decade,
commodity trader Trafigura said.
BALOISE BALN.S
Shareholder pressure is growing on insurer Baloise to change
its voting rules, with influential proxy advisor Glass Lewis
backing one investor's bid to remove a 2% ceiling on voting
rights, saying it would make the Swiss group more attractive.
