** Shares of India's Waaree Renewable Technologies WAAE.NS rise 2.54% to 957.50 rupees, set to snap three sessions of losses

** Electric utilities co said unit Waaree RTL signed turnkey engineering, procurement and construction contract for a 350 MW/1400 MWh battery energy storage system project

** Contract also includes two years of operation and maintenance services

** Co did not disclose value of the order or details of the customer

** YTD stock down 3.5%
