Dec 3 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on Wednesday:

** UK-based hybrid fronting carrier Bridgehaven Europe Holdings has completed its acquisition of Dublin-based SureStone Insurance DAC after receiving all regulatory approvals, the company said on Tuesday.nL6N3X90L6

** Britain's Smiths Group  said it had agreed to sell its Smiths Detection unit, known for its baggage-screening kit in airports and explosive detectors, for 2 billion pounds ($2.65 billion), including debt, to private equity firm CVC Capital. nL6N3X90FZ

** Australian minerals explorer Predictive Discovery PDI.AX said it has received a superior A$2.1 billion ($1.38 billion) takeover proposal from Perseus Mining PRU.AX, driving its shares to their highest level in more than 13 years. nL4N3X81NL

** India's JSW Steel JSTL.NS said it will sell its Bhushan Power and Steel's steel business to form a new 50:50 joint venture with Japan's JFE Steel for an equity value of 315 billion rupees ($3.5 billion). nL4N3X90NU

** Energy firms Uniper UN0k.DE and Sefe, which were bailed out by Berlin during Europe's energy crisis, are seen as attractive assets by potential investors, Germany's economy minister said. nL8N3X90J9

** British money manager Schroders SDR.L is exploring options, including a potential sale, for its financial planning unit Benchmark Capital, two people familiar with the matter told Reuters. nL6N3X90L7

** Chipmaker Marvell Technology MRVL.O said on Tuesday it will buy semiconductor startup Celestial AI in a deal worth $3.25 billion and gave a bullish forecast for its next fiscal year. nL4N3X81HV
