German stocks - Factors to watch on Aug 9

BERLIN/FRANKFURT, Aug 9 (Reuters) - The following are some
of the factors that may move German stocks on Monday:
    
    CORONAVIRUS
    Germany reported 1,183 new infections and two more deaths.

    SCHALTBAU  SLTG.DE 
    U.S.-based private equity firm Carlyle Group  CG.O  makes a
takeover offer for Munich-based railway components specialist
Schaltbau  SLTG.DE  for some 700 million euros. Carlyle is
offering 53.50 euros for each Schaltbau share and has already
secured 69% of the shares, both companies said on Saturday. The
offer is 32% above the closing price of Schaltbau shares on
Friday, which was close to a high for the year.
    
    AIRBUS  AIR.PA   AIRG.DE 
    Airbus has warned employees of hundreds of possible job
losses at its small-parts manufacturing business in Germany if
the unit is not hived off in line with a cost-cutting strategy
set out in April, a source familiar with the plan told Reuters.

    United Internet announced its decision to launch a share
