India's Walchandnagar hits 5-1/2-year high; union strike partially impacts operations

** Shares of Walchandnagar Industries  WALC.NS  rise as much
as 1.95% to 198.95 rupees 
    ** Stock hits highest since Feb 16, 2018
    ** Stock set to post ninth consecutive session of gains, if
current trend holds 
    ** Co said operations at Walchandnagar plant "partially
affected" due to labour union strike, no impact in other two
plants
    ** Co is in discussion with the union to resolve the issue
amicably - WALC
    ** Walchandnagar stock up ~188% YTD
