Australia's QV Equities eyes best day in about 4 years on buyout offer

** Shares of investment firm QV Equities  QVE.AX  rise as
much as 8.7% to A$1.005, on track for their best day since March
17, 2020, if gains hold 
    ** Stock hits highest level since June 10, 2022
    ** Co enters scheme implementation agreement with WAM
Leaders  WLE.AX  whereby WAM Leaders will acquire all of co 
    ** Shares of WLE rise 0.4% to A$1.395 as at 0201 GMT 
    ** Under offer, QVE shareholders will have option to receive
either new WAM Leaders shares or cash or combination of both 
    ** QVE board recommends shareholders vote in favor of scheme
    ** About 1.5 mln shares change hand compared to 30-day
average trading volume of 275,683 shares 
    ** Stock up 4.5% YTD as of last close
