Feb 4 (Reuters) - Finnish engineering group Wartsila WRT1V.HE reported a fourth-quarter order intake below market expectations on Wednesday, as its energy storage business continues to face challenges from U.S. tariffs, regulatory changes and stiff competition.
New orders fell 11% compared to a year earlier and amounted to 2.22 billion euros ($2.63 billion) in the final quarter of 2025. Analysts polled by Vara were expecting orders worth 2.33 billion euros on average.
