GS lifts Wartsila to 'neutral' on strong power demand
BUZZ-GS lifts Wartsila to 'neutral' on strong power demand ** Goldman Sachs upgrades Wartsila WRT1V.HE to "neutral" from "sell" citing the Finnish engineering group's recent capacity hikes
** The broker expects the firm's planned manufacturing capacity increases to be fully utilised driven by strong demand for power generation equipment
** Its previous "sell" rating relied on falling marine capital expenditures, but a strong energy sector order backlog now limits downside risks
** The brokerage notes that this risk is further offset by "the prospect of Marine capex growth from a potential O&G recovery", referring to the oil and gas sector
** Out of 18 analysts that cover the stock, four rate it "strong buy" or "buy", five rate "hold", and nine rate "sell" or "strong sell", according to LSEG data
