Australia's Soul Patts and Brickworks in $9 billion merger

June 2 (Reuters) - Australian investment company Washington H Soul Pattinson SOL.AX and building products maker Brickworks BKW.AX plan to merge and create a new listed entity expected to be valued at A$14 billion ($9.02 billion), the companies said on Monday.
