Adds new items, updates futures
July 3 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.34%.
* CURRYS: Currys CURY.L reported an annual adjusted pre-tax profit above market expectations, as rising sales and tight cost control helped offset pressures from inflation and increased wages.
* CHESNARA: Chesnara CSN.L said it had signed an agreement to buy HSBC Bank's UK life insurance business, HSBC Life (UK) Ltd, for 260 million pounds ($354.85 million).
* WATCHES OF SWITZERLAND: Watches of Switzerland WOSG.L projected full-year revenue growth of 6% to 10%, after its U.S. business revenue surpassed the $1 billion mark for the first time, driven by strong consumer demand.
* RYANAIR: Ryanair RYA.I said it was forced to cancel 170 flights, disrupting travel for more than 30,000 passengers, due to a nationwide air traffic controller strike in France planned for later in the day and Friday.
* GLENCORE: Glencore GLEN.L is in talks with the British government over the status of its supply and offtake contract with the insolvent Lindsey oil refinery, according to a source familiar with the situation.
* WISE: Wise Plc WISEa.L has applied to be directly regulated by the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to create a national trust bank in the United States, according to an official document.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices fell after gaining 3% in the previous session, gold prices were little changed and copper on the London Metal Exchange and the Shanghai Futures Exchange held near the highest levels since late March.
* EX-DIVS: Next PLC NXT.L and F&C Investment Trust PLC FCIT.L will trade without entitlement to their latest dividend pay-outs on Thursday.
