Preferred Partnership Agreement with BlueBot to Expand Preventive Maintenance
Solutions
Water Intelligence plc (AIM: WATR.L) ("WI"), is pleased to announce a
strategic partnership between its core American Leak Detection ("ALD")
business (www.americanleakdetection.com (http://www.americanleakdetection.com)
) and Lookout Labs, Inc. (dba "Bluebot") (www.bluebot.com
(http://www.bluebot.com) ), a US-based provider of smart water management
systems designed to optimize water usage, detect leaks and promote
sustainability. The partnership complements perfectly ALD's strategic
partnership with StreamLabs, Inc. (www.streamlabswater.com
(http://www.streamlabswater.com) ), a Chubb company, announced one year ago.
· ALD will resell / "White Label" Bluebot products strengthening ALD's
competitive position in the IoT water management market
· ALD will be Bluebot's exclusive services partner with respect to
installation, leak detection and repair for Bluebot products purchased over
the internet.
· Bluebot products provide real-time water usage data without the need
for cutting into pipes
· Bluebot broadens the addressable market for ALD because its products
are compatible with various pipe sizes and materials for a broad range of
price points and geographies including WI's current municipal and commercial
services footprint in the UK, Ireland and EU
· The Partnership is expected to contribute to organic growth in 2026
and support margin expansion
WI's competitive strategy is to be the market leader in preventive maintenance
solutions for failing water infrastructure with offerings integrating wireless
monitoring / early warning devices and minimally invasive leak detection and
repair services. By curating products for its more than 200,000 customers
across the US and in the UK, Ireland, Canada and Australia, WI is leveraging
its current operating footprint with distribution of products.
During 2025 ALD and StreamLabs launched WI's preventive maintenance
competitive strategy by training ALD leak detection professionals across the
United States in StreamLabs' product offerings. As a result of field trials
and early sales in 2025, ALD is also developing data products that capture
information from usage in order to better pinpoint water leaks and execute
efficient repairs. StreamLabs has a unique remote water shutoff capability.
The companies are expecting to drive sales during 2026.
Today's Bluebot partnership builds on the work done in 2025 to execute WI
preventive maintenance strategy. Bluebot enhances ALD's offerings seamlessly
in various ways complementary to StreamLabs. ALD is now able to capture more
segments of the market previously left to other competitors. First, Bluebot
enables ALD to offer a water monitoring solutions for every diameter-sized
pipe and for a broader range of price points mapped to the value of the
customer's property. Second, like StreamLabs products and ALD's proprietary
tools, Bluebot proprietary products are also based on acoustic technologies.
ALD believes acoustics is the most effective approach to minimally invasive
solutions. Third, like StreamLabs products, Bluebot products are made with
high quality materials and produce the highest level of diagnostic results.
Fourth, Bluebot data fits nicely with ALD's Salesforce operating system.
Finally, Bluebot technology and proprietary design with respect to clipping
its monitoring products to pipes make it easy to deploy. This latter feature
is especially helpful for leveraging WI's current municipal and commercial
services footprint in the UK, Ireland and EU to attack the residential market
internationally.
As part of the Bluebot Preferred Partnership, ALD will be its exclusive
services partner with respect to installation, leak detection and repair for
products purchased over the internet. Moreover, ALD will be able to "White
Label" BB product offerings. ALD has tested BB products with its customers
having pipe diameters not applicable for StreamLabs. ALD believes there to be
strong demand from such customers for an alternative to other competitors that
cannot also provide ALD's nationwide "first responder" pinpoint leak detection
and repair services once an alert is issued.
Matthew Olin, Founder and CEO of Lookout Lab, Inc., maker of Bluebot
commented: "We are proud to join the ALD and Water Intelligence International
sales platforms and align with organizations that share our commitment to
excellence. Bluebot's easy-to-install, non-invasive water intelligence
platform integrates seamlessly with ALD's minimally invasive leak detection
and repair services, creating a powerful bundled offering for insurance,
property management, and commercial customers. We also bring strong commercial
relationships and advanced irrigation monitoring capabilities that expand
ALD's ability to deliver proactive, data-driven water management in that
market segment. We operate under the same high standards that define ALD and
its partners - QDPICS: an uncompromising focus on Quality, Delivery, People,
Innovation, and Customer Service - and we share a clear belief that
intelligent water management is the future."
Dr. Patrick DeSouza, Executive Chairman of Water Intelligence added, "The
Bluebot partnership builds on our StreamLabs partnership and reinforces our
leadership in providing turnkey, end-to-end water leak detection products and
services for residential, commercial and municipal customers. We expect strong
sales from both StreamLabs and Bluebot because they each provide unique,
customizable solutions for ALD's broad base of customers representing
different diameter pipe, geographies and price points. We are very excited
about the contribution of product sales in 2026 to our organic growth
trajectory and the continued scalability of our distribution platform. We
have significant professional experience in curating various solutions for the
smart home and smart buildings."
