Australia's Webjet jumps to over 2-month high as BGH Capital lifts bid

** Shares of Australian online travel agency Webjet WJL.AX rise as much as 3.4% to A$0.92, their highest level since September 19

** Co says suitor BGH Capital raises its takeover bid to A$0.91 per share valuing Webjet at A$357.2 million ($230.29 million)

** Says bid narrowly surpasses rival bidder Helloworld Travel's recent offer of A$0.90 per share and signalling intensifying competition

** Stock on track for a three-session winning streak and has climbed nearly 8% so far this week

** Stock on track to clock its best week since November 2024, if gains hold

** About ~1.6 million shares change hands, vs the 30-day average of ~933,229

** Stock down 15.5% this year, including the day's move
