 Notification of Change of Auditor 
 
 The Weir Group PLC announces intention to appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
as auditor at 2016 AGM. 
 
 The Weir Group PLC ('the Company') announces that, following the conclusion
of a formal tender process led by the Company's Audit Committee, the Board has
approved the proposed appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the
Company's auditor for the financial year commencing 2 January 2016. This
appointment remains subject to approval by shareholders at the Annual General
Meeting to be held on 28 April 2016. 
 
 The Board of The Weir Group PLC extends its appreciation to Ernst & Young
LLP, the Company's current auditor, for their contribution over many years.
