 Further to the announcement made on 6 May 2016, The Weir Group PLC ("the
Company") confirms that shareholders representing 102,072,001 ordinary shares
have elected to participate in the Company's Scrip Dividend Scheme.
 Accordingly, an application will be made to the Financial Conduct Authority
for 2,548,487 new ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List and to
the London Stock Exchange for the ordinary shares to be admitted to trading.
Dealings in the ordinary shares are expected to commence on 6 June 2016.
