The Weir Group PLC Scrip Dividend Scheme - Scrip Reference Share Price
On 22 February 2017, The Weir Group PLC (the "Company") announced its results for the period ended 31 December 2016 and declared a final dividend of 29.0p (the "2016 Final Dividend").
The Company confirms that the Scrip Reference Share Price for the fully paid ordinary shares to be issued to shareholders electing to receive the Scrip Dividend for the 2016 Final Dividend, payable on 5 June 2017, will be 1941.2p per share.
This figure is equal to the average of the closing middle market quotations derived from the Daily Official List of the London Stock Exchange for the five dealing days commencing on 27 April 2017, being the day on which the Company's ordinary shares were first quoted "ex-dividend".
A letter summarising how Shareholders can participate in the Scrip Scheme, together with the terms and conditions are available on the Company's website at www.investors.weir.
The deadline by which Shareholders can elect to participate in the Scrip Scheme is 24 May 2017. The timetable for the 2016 Final Dividend is as follows:
