Appointment of Interim Executive Chairman

 

The Board of Wellnex Life Limited (ASX/AIM: WNX) (Wellnex Life or Company) is
pleased to announce that Non-Executive Chairman, Mr Ash Vesali, has agreed to
assume the role of interim Executive Chairman for a period of up to six
months, with immediate effect. Following this period, Mr Vesali will return to
his current position as Non-Executive Chairman.

Mr Vesali recently joined Wellnex as Non-executive Chairman to guide and
assist the Board as it refines and enhances its strategy to fully capitalise
on its full potential. His change in role to Interim Executive Chairman will
enable him to devote more time to accelerating the achievement of that
strategy, and to provide executive direction to the wider group.

To maintain the independence of the Board and in recognition of good
governance practice, Mr Eric Jiang, Non-executive Director, will take on the
responsibilities of Senior Independent Director.

Key details of Mr Vesali's executive service agreement are:

 

·      Mr Vesali will work as Interim Executive Chairman on a part time
basis (three days per week); and

·      Remuneration on top of the existing Non-Executive Chair fee
(A$80,000 p.a.) will be A$19,600 per month plus GST during the period for
which Mr Vesali acts as Interim Executive Chairman.
