Wells Fargo rises as Morgan Stanley upgrades to "overweight"

** Shares of Wells Fargo WFC.N climb 0.9% to $81.14 after Morgan Stanley upgrades to "overweight" from "equal-weight"
** The brokerage expects WFC's net interest margin to stabilize as balance-sheet growth slows and the bank uses more lower-cost funding, supporting net interest income growth 
** MS says higher rates also provide additional support as Wells screens as the most asset sensitive money center bank  
** Co set to report Q3 earnings report on Oct 13
** 18 of 26 brokerages rate the stock "buy" or higher, eight "hold"; median PT $100 — data compiled by LSEG
** WFC maintains $102 price target 
** Stock trading at 10.28 times expected EPS over the next 12 months, slightly below the industry median of 10.31
** WFC down 13% YTD vs 0.3% gain for the S&P 500 banks index .SPXBK
