** Shares of Welspun Corp  WGSR.NS  rise as much as 3.3%,
last up 2.8% to 650.75 rupees
    ** Co says its associate co signed contracts worth 5.25 bln
rupees ($62.6 million) with EPC contractors
    ** Steel pipes maker will report Q1 results later in the day
    ** Stock on track to rise in four out of five straight
sessions if trend holds
    ** WGSR up 18.6% YTD, rival Jindal SAW  JIND.NS  up 50.7%
