U.S. stocks dropped on Thursday after President Donald Trump canceled a planned
summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, while a slide in oil prices and
bank stocks also weighed as investors grappled with fresh U.S. protectionist
plans.  .N 
    At 10:21 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.65 percent
at 24,725.89. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.58 percent at 2,717.31 and the
Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.46 percent at 7,391.833.
