rises as much as 25% to A$0.020 in its biggest intraday pct gain
since Dec. 15
    ** Says unit SIMPEC received a A$10 mln ($7.49 mln) contract
from renewable energy company Acciona for the Avertas project

    ** New contract is for site pipe installation services for
the energy from waste facility Avertas 
    ** The contract begins immediately and is expected to be
delivered by the end of 2021 - WSI
    ** Stock hits three-month high; down 27.3% this year, as of

    ** About 8.9 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 2.1 mln shares
