Whole Earth Brands says CEO Manzone to step down, shares fall

** Shares of sweetener maker Whole Earth Brands Inc  FREE.O 
down ~4% at $4.09 in afternoon trade
    ** Co says Albert Manzone will step down as CEO and member
of board to pursue other business opportunities, effective Jan.
1, 2023
    ** Adds Michael Franklin will serve as FREE's interim CEO
from Jan. 1; Franklin has been on the company's board of
directors since August 2022
    ** Co also says Manzone will assist the company and Franklin
in the orderly transition through Feb. 28, 2023
    ** Whole Earth Brands also reaffirms its FY2022 forecast
given previously in November
    ** YTD, stock down ~62%
