acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1030 GMT on Monday:

        ** Amazon  AMZN.O  and robot vacuum maker iRobot
 IRBT.O  said they would end their plans to merge in the face of

a deal valued at $3.8 billion, as the portable storage solutions

    ** Investment company ICT Holding, owned by Russian
businessman Alexander Nesis, has sold its 23.9% stake in gold
and silver producer Polymetal International to a consortium led
by the Omani government, Polymetal said in a statement.
