Preview: Williams: Sonoma Q3 EPS seen falling, revenue expected to rise y/y

** Shares of home products retailer Williams-Sonoma WSM.N were flat ahead of Q3 report due before market open on Wednesday

** Wall Street sees the operator of stores such as Pottery Barn and West Elm as well as Williams Sonoma stores, reporting adj. EPS of $1.87 vs $1.96 a year ago and revenue of $1.87 bln vs $1.80 bln - data compiled by LSEG

** In last 8 quarters, revenue met or beat the street 6 times, while EPS beat 8 times

** Investors have been concerned about the impact of President Donald Trump's tariffs on furniture retailers, but rival Wayfair  reported strong third-quarter results and upbeat forecasts

** Shares in WSM last at $181.12 vs median PT of $208.50, down from $210 a month ago as per LSEG, which shows 23 analyst ratings: 4 'strong buy,' 4 'buy' and 15 'hold'

** YTD its shares are down ~2% vs 0.3% rise of S&P 500 consumer discretionary index .SPLRCD
