rose 10% in early deals on Monday, surging above a sweetened
offer from French shipper CMA CGM after the British logistics
firm was approached by a potential competing bidder.
Wincanton board continues to recommend unanimously the
increased and final cash offer by CMA unit CEVA Logistics.
Wincanton shares last traded at 496 pence in London, above
CMA's 480 pence-per-share increased offer.
