Update on Expectations for FY24

 

Windar Photonics PLC (AIM:WPHO), the technology group that has developed a LiDAR-assisted monitoring and optimization solution across multiple wind turbine platforms, announces an update to expectations for the year to 31 December 2024.

 

On 24th March 2025 the Company announced expectations for 2024 of revenue of €5.7m and EBITDA of circa €0.4m. During the audit of the Group's Financial Statements it has emerged that a single delivery of product that was shipped to a customer in the second half of December 2024 and for which Windar received payment in early January 2025 did not meet the requirements under IAS to be recognised within 2024. As such this order with revenue of €1.25m will be reported as falling within 2025.

 

As a result of this adjustment, expectations for 2024 revenue are €4.6m with an EBITDA loss for the year of circa €0.4m.

 

This change purely relates to accounting years and has no financial impact on the business. The Board looks forward to announcing the audited results for 2024 in the second half of June 2025.
