** Shares of Winton Land  WIN.NZ  rise as much as 5.3% to
NZ$2.400, posting their biggest intraday percentage gain since
Aug. 18
    ** Stock hits its highest level since Nov. 10
    ** Residential land developer says Wanaka Partners will sell
5% stake in WIN to TC Akarua 2, a unit of Australia's Macquarie
Asset Management
    ** Sale price of NZ$2.50 per share represents a 9.6% premium
on WIN's last close
    ** Stock up 37.4% YTD, based on last close
