** On Friday, Nasdaq slumped more than 2% and hit its fifth consecutive weekly drop; Dow was in correction territory with 1.7% drop .N

** Tech firms Wisetech Global WTC.AX, Xero XRO.AX decline 4.8% and 4.9%, respectively

** AXIj loses 30.9% YTD
