Australian tech stocks hit six-week low as Nasdaq slide weighs

** Australian technology stocks .AXIJ down 1.5% to their lowest level since July 27
** The AXIJ sub-index tracks an overnight decline in the tech-heavy Nasdaq 
** Sub-index falls for a fourth consecutive session, if losses hold 
** Shares of Xero XRO.AX, WiseTech Global WTC.AX and Zip ZIP.AX fall between 1.7% and 3.4%   
** YTD, sub-index down 21.7% vs a 0.8% gain in benchmark AXJO
