** Three main U.S. stock indexes closed overnight session up more than 1% as oil prices fell after President Donald Trump said he had ordered the military to postpone strikes against Iranian power plants .N

** Shares of tech firms WiseTech Global WTC.AX, NEXTDC NXT.AX up 0.7% and 1%, respectively

** Sub-index has fallen 24.3% this year, including session moves
