** The S&P 500 software and services index dropped 5.09% on the session as concerns resurfaced about AI-driven disruption across the software sector

** WiseTech Global WTC.AX sheds 1.9% and Xero XRO.AX drops 2.6%

** Sub-index down 18.5% YTD
