JUNE 2023 TRAFFIC AND CO2 EMISSION STATISTICS
WIZZ AIR CARRIED 5.3 MILLION PASSENGERS, AN INCREASE OF 23% YEAR-ON-YEAR

Geneva, 4 July 2023: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air"), the fastest growing
and one of the most sustainable European airlines, today announces passenger
and CO(2) emission statistics for June 2023.
In June 2023, Wizz Air carried 5,314,584 passengers, representing a 22.5%
increase compared to June 2022, at a load factor of 92.2%.
Wizz Air continued to grow its network and improve its customer offering in
June, including:
· Wizz Air announced addition of ten new routes to its Albanian
network. New flights from Tirana to Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool (UK),
Bucharest (Romania), Sofia (Bulgaria), Prague (Czech Republic) and Krakow
(Poland) will start in the upcoming winter season. The network expansion
amounts to nearly 100 extra weekly flights scheduled for this winter;
· Wizz Air took delivery of its latest A321neo aircraft from the
Airbus assembly plant located in Tianjin, China. This is the first aircraft
Wizz Air received from a non-European assembly plant, which also represents
the very first one ever to be delivered to a European airline customer from
Tianjin plant;
· Wizz Air has been named the Most Sustainable Low-Cost Airline for
the third consecutive year at the World Finance Sustainability Awards 2023;
· Wizz Air announced that its entire fleet of aircraft at London
Luton Airport will be made up of Airbus A321neo by 2025. This step is aligned
with its long-term fleet renewal strategy, including partnering with airports
in pursuit of mutual aviation carbon footprint reduction goals;
· Wizz Air continuously operates the lowest CO(2) emissions per
passenger/km among all competitor airlines, with 52.5 grams per passenger/km
for the rolling 12 months to 30 June 2023. For the month of June, CO(2)
emissions were 51.5 grams per passenger/km (8.4% lower compared to same month
last year).
