** Shares of chip firm Navitas Semiconductor NVTS.O fall 6% to $13.2 premarket
** Chipmaker Wolfspeed WOLF.N files patent infringement lawsuit against Navitas in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware
** WOLF alleges NVTS' products infringe multiple Wolfspeed patents
** Navitas disputes the allegations in the complaint; says "will vigorously defend itself and its products against baseless accusations of infringement, and expects to prevail in the litigation"
** Up to last close, NVTS shares have nearly doubled YTD
