Obtala Resources Limited (AIM:OBT), the African focused agricultural and forestry company, is pleased to confirm that, following our initial announcement of 29th June, the proposed appointment to the board of Warren Deats as Chief Operating Officer will become effective from 1st August 2016.
Since our announcement of his intended appointment, Warren Deats has, between the dates of 6th and 29th Julypurchased 4,735,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") between the prices of 8.4p and 9.0p (weighed average of 8.98p) per Ordinary Share. This holding represents an interest in 1.8 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
