Angela Rushforth appointed Independent Non-Executive Director

The Works, the UK's leading specialist retailer of affordable, screen-free
activities for the whole family, announces the appointment of Angela Rushforth
as Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 25 February 2026.

Angela is a highly experienced business executive, with 30 years' experience
across a range of strategic and commercial roles. She has held senior
management positions at a number of industry-leading listed and private
building materials supply and retail businesses, with particular expertise
gained in brand-building and business transformation. Most recently Angela
spent over 10 years at Travis Perkins plc as part of their senior leadership
team, including as Managing Director of BSS Group and more latterly as
Managing Director of Toolstation, the multi-channel retailer with more than
550 branches in the UK and over 100 in Benelux.

Angela also has relevant plc and corporate governance experience and is
currently a Non-Executive Director at Eurocell plc.

In addition to joining the Company's Board, Angela has been appointed Chair of
the Remuneration Committee and member of the Audit and Nomination Committees.
